What better way for Sony to advertise the Playstation 3 and PSP than to build a giant-sized sculpture of them? Actually, there are probably many better ways to advertise their products. But at least this one's pretty inventive.
Donghae City was the held the first Korean Invitational World Sand Sculpting Championship. What does this have to with video games? Sony Computer Entertainment Korea showed up and joined the sand sculpting fun.
That’s what SCEK made and they seem quite proud of it since they sent out a news bulletin reporting their marketing stunt.

Now, if those sand sculptures were small scale models to buy in the store however, I'd get one.
Just looking at them, they look more like they are made out of concrete than sand.
