Electronic Theatre reports on Peter Moore's keynote speech from Edinburgh Interactive, entitled "The Challenge of Reinventing the Iconic Sports Brand Game", in which he brutally analysed his company’s' standing in not just the games industry, but the global economy.

Brutally comparing the EA SPORTS of as little as two years ago to a sinking ship, Moore was not shy in his description of the company and the direction in which it was heading. He based this upon his understanding that the advancements in graphics meant that there was a distinct push within EA SPORTS towards realism and a quest to make TV images and videogames indistinguishable at a glance.
