Electronic Theatre reports on the widget update from Ubisoft for the forthcoming Assassin's Creed II, as well as a new titbit of information revealing how the story ties to the first title.

Due for release across Europe on November 20th, 2009, Assassin’s Creed II will launch on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC simultaneously, with sibling release Assassins Creed II: Bloodlines launching on PlayStation Portable (PSP). Rumours have once again surfaced concerning a Nintendo DS version also, despite Ubisoft’s previous denial of it’s existence.
