    100s of hours?

So that'll be 10 missions or so repeated about 50 times each.

Probably just a lot of extra stuff. I doubt the story itself will be 100+ hours long

Well no offense, but considering Kojima's tendency to promise more than he can deliver I doubt it'll be hundreds of hours long, not without an abundance of repetitive side quests anyway.

Since when has Kojima made a MGS game based around "side quests"? They've always been linear campaign-driven games, not some questing game like GTA.

I'm pretty sure Portal Ops had some kind of mission system which allowed for many non-plot essential levels. At the very least it had the ability to recruit just about anyone, which meant lots of going backwards and forwards to get the best team.

10 hours of story, 390 hours of cutscenes.

Much of story is told through cutscenes.

Hundred hours on a 1gig disk?

    Doubt it.

Portable Ops added in more hours when you were strengthening your troops and soldiers and "tech" and whatnot. I wouldn't be surprised if this included something else to waste your time with.
