EA contines to strive to create the most realistic football game with its latest installmet of Madden. EA has teamed up with the weather channel to bring real time weather to Madden, as long as you have a broadband connection. EA had this to say:

“Our teams at The Weather Channel provide a data feed that allows EA to pull real-time weather for any location chosen as a venue within the game. We also provided historical data for the past three years so that the EA producers would be able to match realistic weather conditions at every venue for games played at any time of year.”

Real time weather? Yawn. I think I prefer artificial weather where I can decide whether it should rain or not. That is far more interesting than real time weather. Imagine if you want to play while it's raining. Chances are you won't be able to because it might be a thunderstorm and you kinda have to disconnect your electronics to keep them safe from lightning.

I think you can still choose though. It doesn't HAVE to be real time.

I really like this feature. They have included it with the new Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 and I think it is a cool little feature to have.
