With Sony finally putting the PS3 Slim rumors to rest, analysts have already moved on to speculating about the next possible hardware revision; the 360 Slim. Read on to see what they think.

The PS3 Slim is about to hit retail and consumer interest is already pretty high, judging by Amazon. Although Microsoft has already made some internal changes to the Xbox 360 hardware (in an effort to prevent the dreaded "red ring of death" from happening too often), IndustryGamers thinks Microsoft would do well to introduce a slimmed down Xbox 360 with a sleeker design, quieter performance and most important of all, greater reliability.

They wont do it. I don't think a slim 360 will generate as much attention because the original is pretty cheap already.

The price cut with the PS3 slim is what got it half the hype.

MS isn't the kind of company to just make a smaller console anyway, it's not what they do.

I don't think an Xbox 360 slim is on the cards, considering the speculation about the Xbox 360 'Super Elite'. Surely they wont release two radically different bundles simultaneously.
