World Of Warcraft No Longer Has The Largest Gaming Community

World of Warcraft has had a massive gaming community ever since its first release. In fact it had the largest gaming community.. until now. Lets take a look at Battle.net, which is free by the way.

World of Warcraft is popularly known as the largest gaming community in the world having gained an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records when it reached 10 million subscribers.

    ROFL! WTF? Battle.net is from Blizzard... It's a website, not a MMORPG, and full of Blizzards games. How exactly was this compared to World of Warcraft as more subscribers?

      because its comparing gaming communities, not actual games themselves. WOW still has the most in terms of single games, but Bnet has more total members/users. but Bnet basically houses all Blizzard games, so it counts players of WOW, Diablo, Warcraft 3 (and 2 if anyone plays that), Starcraft and of course SC2 when that comes out. and so because of SC2 and Diablo 3 on the horizon, its almost a given that Bnet will stay at the top now for quite a long time.

      Battle.net is akin to steam. Its just what Blizzard run their severs on. Its not a game.

        Yup, pretty much fail.

        Battlenet has ALL of blizzards games on there. So it has WOW and all of its other games. No wonder it beats wow.

    Why can't it just say "Blizzard Bumbards the internet once again". I mean Battle.net and WoW...It's like they own the *bleeping* internet
