Monkey Island to return after seven-year break?

It's a point-and-click classic and rumour currently suggests that yet another shiver-me-timbers adventure could soon be on the cards with the whispered arrival of Monkey Island 5? GamerSquad fills in the gaps.

GamerSquad advise approaching this juicy slice of speculation with some caution, but a couple of clues have led some Internet bloggers to believe that work on Monkey Island 5 could be underway, deep in some subterranean LucasArts laboratory.

    Excellent, one of the best adventure franchises with a wide audience appeal - not to mention now that the Pirates of the Carribean movie have hit the public I'm sure Monkey Island will have an even broader appeal.
