Call of Duty Black Ops Voted ‘Best Game Ending’ Of All Time
19 hours 54 mins ago
Three years ago, Square Enix showed off a tech demo of Final Fantasy 7 running on a PS3. The footage got a lot of people excited for a possible remake of the game. Recently, Final Fantasy XIII producer Yoshinori Kitase revealed that, while they currently have no plans for a remake, news of a Final Fantasy VII remake would “perhaps” come soon.
Speaking at gamescom last week, Kitase said: "As for a VII remake, all I can advise right now is to play the PSN release that just came out for the time being. Maybe, perhaps we'll have some news for you at a later time."

Don't feed the fanboys, Square Enix, you'll only cause yourself headaches!
There was a time when I really wished it would be made but those days are long gone.
No doubt a FFVII remake would be a huge success if it is ever made, and I'd definitely buy a copy, but I'm no longer super hyped about the possibility of playing an FFVII remake. And that kinda disappoints me.
If not, then FF7 on PSN does it fine for me.
I guarantee something will get lost in translation, and whatever people imagine the remake to be like in terms of quality, it will disappoint. Nevermind this "but Square know and they will take their time..."
Im content with FF7 the way it is, but Im willing to pay for a remake. I just like to close my eyes and imagine a world without Dirge of Cerberus.....
FF7 will be remade. Square would have to be retards not to as everyone will obviously buy it and it's about half as much work as making a new game because they already have gameplay story and characters set out. Also considering the ammount of games that Square have remade or re-released with some kind of altering ie. Final Fantasy 1 2 3 4 5 and 6, it is inevitable that eventually 7 will be remade on xbox/ps3.
