Sony has put out a warning to PS3 hackers who have reportedly cracked the firmware of the PS3 for pirated gaming.

Sony has come out and stated that they will be "aggressively" pursuing legal action against any type of hacking activity which may be going on.

I bet those hackers are shaking in their boots just like they have in the past!

"Aggressively" sounds intimidating enough. But I think they should've added "we pwn joo" to communicate better.

This sounds good. Sony's keeping tabs on hackers, but how? Through PSN? If so, the hackers could easily disconnect :/

I dont think there is anything they could do to catch you in the act unless they come to your house thereselfs and see you Ps3, waste of time and money of course =/.

But never the less I think it is good they are doing this for "themselfs" to keep controle and that.

I know that was supposed to be sarcastic, but I think it's a little stupid of them to be so ignorant. This isn't nearly the same as homebrew PSP stuff which is the way they seem to compare it. This has the potential to be a much bigger deal than that and I do think that Sony will take legal action and I also think that hackers should be very weary.
