Official Halo 3 peripherals unveiled

Hey, you know what would be a good idea to boost the popularity of Halo 3? Hideously garish Spartan and Covenant wireless Xbox 360 controllers and a truly tacky Halo 3 Live headset! Yeah, I bet Microsoft hasn't even though about doing that... Oh!

In anticipation of Halo 3’s release and the complete meltdown of Xbox Live on September 25, Microsoft has designed a pair of official Xbox 360 wireless controllers, in both Covenant and Spartan flavours. There’s also a Spartan green Xbox Live headset to complete the set.

    I could see a lot of people just getting this as a Collector's Item obviously. I might if I have some extra cash and need another controller for multiplayer purposes.
