Brendan Carlin and Simon Mcgee of the Daily Mail aren't very happy with the former Prime Minister of the UK's wife Cherie Blair and her son Nicky, because they have recently become involved with Magnitude Gaming, the guys behind Counter Strike.
According to the Mail, Counter Strike is a "combat game which pits anti-terror officers against gun-toting terrorists in highly realistic, graphic battles" and that "there have been claims that perpetrators of massacres in the US and Germany have been fans of the game."
Ouch! (But then again, who pays attention to the Daily Mail?)

Tony Blair's wife Cherie and their son Nicky have become directors of a computer gaming firm which has been involved in a controversial violent video game.
They have joined the board of Magnitude Gaming, one of a new breed of companies which manage semi-professional teams in the growing ‘e-sport’ world.
The teams play high-tech video games online and can earn thousands of pounds a year in prize money.
The company has run a team playing the Counter-Strike combat game, which pits anti-terror officers against gun-toting terrorists in highly realistic, graphic battles.
