When Grand Theft Auto IV was first announced, we also heard that the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 would be geaining downloadable content for it. That is not the case. What this report is stating, gives it out plain and clear. The 360 will be the only system getting downloadable content. The Playstation 3 is being left out.
"The 2008 release schedule shows that two episodes are planned to be released for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. On the report though there is no news of that extra content for the PlayStation 3 version of the game."
Just great. 360 owners are getting special treatment again by Rockstar.
"When Grand Theft Auto IV was announced it was reported that both the Xbox 360 and PS3 would be getting unique downloadable content, this appears to no longer be the case.
Reports are coming out from the Take-Two financial report, the parent company of Rockstar, that the Xbox 360 would be the only console getting the downloadable content.
The 2008 release schedule shows that two episodes are planned to be released for the Xbox 360 version of Grand Theft Auto IV. On the report though there is no news of that extra content for the PlayStation 3 version of the game.
This has to lead to the idea that it could be possible that Sony and the PS3 could be getting teh shaft here. Rockstar has not released any further information but the original announcement not too long ago was that the PS3 would also be getting downloadable content for GTA IV.
We will have to wait and see but if this is the case this could surely hurt PS3 sales and give the Xbox 360 yet another boost."

I hate XBOX!
I say Microsoft paid Microsift to do this.
They can just as well add the content instead of a downloadable like Ubisoft did with GRAW2 and R6V.
Poor old sony once again..
