Extra cooling being added to repaired 360s?

While GamerSquad was naturally annoyed and saddened when its beloved launch Xbox 360 shuffled off the hardware coil recently, courtesy of the dreaded Red Ring of Death, 'cool' rumours floating around the Internet suggest Microsoft is finally trying to alleviate the 'hot' problem. Hark, we're a HOOT!

GamerSquad's own 'Red Ring of Death' woes have already been well-documented by an emotional Editor Stevie, but new anecdotal evidence revealed today seems to suggest that Microsoft is trying new measures to counter the dreaded RRoD that has afflicted so many Xbox 360s. Read more...

    Good that they're doing something it's a way too common problem, I've had it several times myself due to overheating and that's after only having the console on maybe an hour so it's not like I was over using it.

    I'm glad to see Microsoft working on the XBOX 360's overheating problems. Hopefully once they do this the red rings of death won't be so common.
