Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles is easily one of the most anticipated Wii games this year and now Capcom has announced a new scenario for the game. Previously all the other scenarios in were retellings of previous RE games but Darkside Chronicles will feature a brand new original scenario that is a prequel to RE4. Capcom hasn't released a trailer for this scenario but several images for it have been released.

The “Operation Javier” scenario in Darkside Chronicles will find Leon S. Kennedy and Krauser teaming up as they investigate a t-Virus outbreak in a South American village. Surely some of you may be wondering why the hell Leon is teaming up with Krauser since the dude was killed in RE4 but Operation Javier is set in 2002 so it’s a prequel to the events of RE4 back in a time when Leon and Krauser were still on the same side.
