Jean-Piere Treiber, age of 45 who is a double murder suspect was able to escape prison in a cardboard box explained the embarrassed officials. The box was loaded with other boxes into the lorry before Jean-Piere broke loose as the driver was making his journey to his destination.

Police officials have now been ordered to patrol the area in which they assume Jean is situated in. The police have sealed off the area and put helicopters and sniffer dogs to catch Jean in hopes he's not hiding in another cardboard box.

Embarrassed officials were at a loss to explain how Jean-Pierre Treiber, 45, a double murder suspect, managed to elude detection in the box he had built himself at a workshop in the high security prison of Auxerre, Burgundy.
