Due to Bayonetta's overt sex appeal, you would assume that it was a male who designed her. Well, apparently not. According to Platinum's Yusuke Hashimoto, Bayonetta is a character that only a woman could design.

You'd think that Bayonetta, the ludicrously sexy videogame from Platinum Games, would have been designed entirely by males, entirely for males. However, while chatting with Platinum's Yusuke Hashimoto, I found out that not only was the game's titular character designed by a woman, but that the studio believes only a woman's touch could have made Bayonetta who she is.

Y'know, if anything, I think only a man could do it, because it just reeks of some female stereotypes sometimes.

Hmm, the glasses thing seems something that most males wouldn't add to a character that is all about sex appeal.

There's no such thing as a woman's touch, unless you're referring to the draining of your life force.

But seriously, shes obviously a sexual lady, however that could come from a woman expressing her sexuality, or from a man or woman expressing their desire for a sexual woman. If you claim to discern a difference, you're probably thinking too much.

That would require you letting them spend your money, in which case you're weak. Good day.

All I have in my wallet is condoms and mentos, and I don't even like mentos.

I'm sorry, but... no. I do not sense a woman's touch. I just see an interesting looking character, and the gender of her creator never came up in my mind.

I agree, I never gave any thought to the gender, if anything I would assume it was a combination of female and male designers, not just one.

I would have agreed with the interesting looking character thing if I hadn't read somewhere that she gets more and more naked with the longer the string of combos she puts together. That just makes it sound like a game designed to appeal to hormone crazed guys to me, and puts me off it.

PFt, stuff like this always happens. It was two women in TEAM SILENT who made heather wear the skirt. The men wanted jeans or something.

Have you seen her? You know she wears her own hair that comes off when is super saiyan mode, just about covering her giblets Adam and Eve style? Have you even seen the trailers, how she acts and speaks?

Unless if it was by a slag (or a group of slags) then no, she quite clearly wasn't designed by a woman. Don't be stupid. Lying git.
