An undergraduate university student is still being interviewed by the authorities after slashing the intruder nearly dismembering his hand and deeply wounding his upper body. The intruder was pronounced dead at the scene.
The gamers already had a PlayStation and laptops stolen the same week Monday, so the gamer evidently didn't cool down since the prior intrusion.
The student heard noises downstairs at approximately 1am where he went to investigate equipped with a samurai sword. After a bit of observing he noticed the garage door was opened and this is where the suspect tried lunging at him.
The Police have confirmed that it wasn't the first time the intruder had broken into a house.
One thing comes to mind after reading this story. A quote from Shenmue:
I will allow you to die like a warrior.
Holy crap. Detectives are still interviewing a Johns Hopkins University student who fatally lacerated the upper body of a man breaking into his off-campus residence overnight. The suspect also suffered a nearly-severed hand, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Burglar must of shit himself when he saw the damn samurai sword!
Fantastic, it serves him right!
Requirement: Do not bring any weapons, concealed or otherwise
>_>
Him dying was a bit much, and it seemed the resident was kinda itching for a chance to use it, but hell, I hear of burglars getting awarded money for injuring themselves after robbing a residence (yes, WTF?) >_>
