Nintendo is doing almost anything they can to get there Europian Wii owners to get connected. Anyone who is able to connect their Wii to the Internet is now called a "Connection Ambassador". If they help a friend, or any other Europien Wii owner, to connect to the Connections settings menu, they will recieve 500 Wii points. If they help 10 people, they'll get all first-party NES games for FREE, this being called "Gold Status". If you help connect 20 people, you reach "Platinum Status" and get ALL NES, SNES, N64 Virtual Console games absolutely free. No charge to them, plus you still get the 500 Wii points per a person you helped. Talk about good payout for the "Ambassadors".
Eager to show its disconnected patrons that their Wiis can do more than Wii Sports -- you don't even have to eject the disc! -- Nintendo has appointed pretty much anyone in Europe savvy enough to visit Wii's Connection Settings menu an "Ambassador."
