Nintendo Cracks Open Piggy Bank for Increased Marketing

VOOK | June 15, 2007 | News | Wii
It’s no secret Nintendo is rolling in the money and Nintendo UK are going to be putting that money to good use and boosting their marketing more then they ever have before.
Nintendo have already spent more than 1 Million pounds on marketing for Mario Strikers Charged Football while promotions for Mario Party 8 and Big Brain Academy each both exceed the figure for Strikers.

Yeah I have definitely noticed that advertisements have shot up a great deal recently. A lot of different variations of Wii adverts, sponsoring UK shows such as "8 out of 10 Cats".. Great stuff.

Yeah I noticed that a while ago, nintendo sponsoring something like that.

I have seen a lot of adverts for Strikers, but not for the other games.

I loved the adverts with the people moving about, being a DS game.

Yes. Those adverts really got my attention, although they looked kind of silly, but amusing anyway.

Wow. It's good to know that Nintendo are using their money wisely. Good marketing is definately the way to go.

I agree with Goyun. I think they are focusing too much attention on Mario Strikers Charged Football. I have seen that advert an endless amount of times. Even though it is indeed the first game online, there is no need to continually boast about it.
