Mass Effect 2 Secrets Revealed

The Head Start of long expected MMORPG Aion began on Sunday. While some players are satisfied how the launch has gone smoothly, others complain about game crashes and disconnects.
The Aion "Head Start" began at noon PST on Sunday, and so far it's looking a bit shaky. Forum posts around the Aion block are mixed, with some feeling that the launch has gone smoothly, while others complain about long waits in the queue to log in and disconnects.
At Aion Tower they run down the events of launch day. It didn't take long before NCsoft realized they had to increase the queue, and begin looking into a more permanent solution. Within three hours of launch at least a couple of servers had crashed or were experiencing disconnects and lag. Within 5 hours of launch the waiting time in the queue was at least 2 hours.
Other reports, such as those on Aion Source, list wait times of over 5 hours, and disconnects after waiting in the queue and finally reaching the character select screen. Another common complaint is queue times going up as people wait, rather than going down. Aion Community Manager Ayase has responded to some of the complaints.
NCSoft has been trying to keep the balance both for server population and race so that one side does not grow too large. This will likely mean that many people will not get their first choice server. A list of known issues and fixes is now available in the official Aion forums.

Seriously need more servers. Preferably on the west coast or at least in the midwest. 250ms is unacceptable because your servers are ONLY in the east coast. Benefit both sides of the country, NCSoft (not like they planned this well in the first place when one of your updates regarding a long queue is having an even bigger queue to accommodate players).
Fortunately, I've only been disconnected once and then when I got it up and running again, I got back on immediately.
So far, I haven't experienced any other problems. But I am a bit concerned about release day.
