Bobby Kotick's logic has spread to Daniel Rosensweig, CEO of Guitar Hero.

20% of households with consoles own the game. And the GH CEO wants to go after the remaining 80%? Truly it doesn't mean that 80% do not quite like rhythm games or don't have the coordination/rhythm needed.

Until we see a better game (singular here, not plural; as in ONE game, just like Rock band), Guitar Hero will always be seen as saturated.

Open the pool up for others while you're at it. Rhythm Heaven over there needs to cool down you know.

"There's the next 80 percent we have the opportunity go after," Rosensweig says. "So there are more consoles plus consoles getting more connected and we have the opportunity to sell more into that audience. So we're not particularly concerned about that."

Well of course it isn't saturated. I mean what 8 games the past 2 years? HARDLY A THING! *laughs loudly*

And that's not including lips (which is actually good) RB (also good) and Singstar (somewhat good)

Activision really need to shut Bobby Kotick up; I can't think of a single article where he has said something that the majority of gamers agree with.

As said by DWG; 8 games in the past 2 years... and I'm doubting it's that small of a number. I mean, they're even GIVING AWAY the Van Halen Guitar Hero when you purchase 5. I'm pretty sure everyone at Activision except Kotick feels the market isn't over-saturated.

Dude, it wasn't Kotick who was quoted in the article.

Daniel Rosensweig is the GH CEO, not Bobby Kotick.

          That's exactly what I meant.

Definitely right. My bad, I scan-read the article, didn't pay much attention to it. I see Bobby Kotick, roll my eyes, and read. His name must have popped up after seeing his name.

Even then that's mostly because there's two games a ton of DLC vs a new game out every three months.

That's because they're making money on DLC and The Beatles. Hell, I've bought over $250 over a year.

Shinkama is exactly right about the DLC & The Beatles!
