Well, we now know what that "Resident Evil 5: Director's Cut" stuff was all about. It's a re-release of Res 5, built to take advantage of Sony's upcoming motion controller.
The game will be out in Spring 2010, ad it's far from the only existing PS3 title to take advantage of the new peripheral. During SCEJ's TGS press conference, Sony's Shuhei Yoshida revealed that the controller will also work with exsting games like LittleBigPlanet, EyePet, Flower, Pain, High Velocity Bowling "and more".

Comments
1) Hell yes to Sony Motion Controller games
2) I bought RE 5 at release-day. Hopefully there's a discount for existing owners. Then again...this is capcom. Who am I bullshitting?
majini grabs you- waggle waggle- shoot it
Rinse/repeat.
But if sony can patch up old games to include motion support then why the hell is Capcom doing this? It make$ no $en$e.
If not then it becomes a wii shovelware game with HD graphics no amount technology will change that. And capcom isn't the one to put time & effort into RE5. So only waggle waggle for those who buy this.
The main question "Is Versus already on this?"
And so begins the "Wii shovelware fad" on PS3/360.
