Left 4 Dead 2 has been refused classification in Australia and EA aren't too happy with that, saying that they "believe that adults should have the right to make their own choices when it comes to the content they consume."
Go EA!

Publisher Electronic Arts has responded to the OFLC's decision, offering quite the verbal bitchslap to the game-banning country.

"It's funny that a place like Australia, which has come up with some pretty violent material in the past with something like Mad Max, can effectively ban videogames for the same reason," snarks European communications director Tiffany Steckler.
"EA believes that adults should have the right to make their own choices when it comes to the content they consume."

Nice one EA, and that's not something I say very often.
How come they've picked on this one but L4D got released, what's so different?

    Go you good thing!

Its a shame this doesn't mean shit in the whole outcome, but good to see EA 'seems' to have got the peoples (and there's obviously, there the ones distributing the game of course) at heart.

If this game was imported how much would you guys end up paying? Would it be the same price or more expensive?

Most likely cheaper, shipping included. On the other hand that's only a viable option for consoles as with PC we would get to much lag without local servers...

    EA ftw

Character limit is really pissing me off, I know this is a bit rude complaining about the character limit but sometimes things can be short but sweet

As much as I love EA for this statement, I must also say that instead of talking big, they actually need to do something to get this damn game into Australia!
