Neoseeker editor Lydia Sung returns to the fray today with an editorial about the Xbox LIVE Avatar Marketplace, which, like many gamers out there, she feels is disrespectful to customers.

Not usually just one to rant though, she offers up three major suggestions Microsoft can make use of to please (mostly) everyone.

When Microsoft first announced their new Avatar features, I was pretty excited at the prospect of expanded Avatar functionality. The Marketplace felt like a real step forward. And when this feature was launched, I could hardly contain myself. Microsoft had truly followed through for the Xbox LIVE community!

Then I saw the price tag on the virtual merchandise and felt like I'd been doused in liquid flame retardant.

    They have to make money somehow. This is Microsoft we are talking about. They are barely getting by!

      They have laid off thousands of people in the last year...I suppose things will get a huge boost once Windows 7 becomes profitable, though..
