Is this the last SKU Sony? Or are we going to see a 500Gb SKU in a months time. I mean I know it's time to cash in and a larger SKU for £50 more with a game is going to be another great success, but with the price point you are now targetting the casual market. DO NOT CONFUSE THEM. You had this issue 2 years ago, you released the 20Gb and the 60Gb, then the 60Gb vanished and along came the 80Gb then the 20Gb vanished, then along came the 40Gb and that vanished eventually... It's confusing business practice especially among the none tech savvy crowd.

I understand why you do it as you want to provide value for money, but advertise the differences even if you come across as patronising. Like Apple used to do with the iPod. "This iPod has 16Gb's of memory, that is 22,000 songs to you and me or 120 videos" Stuff like that really shows what they are getting, it's also a chance to advertise why they would need so much space. All I see here is a good way to make money but something else to confuse those that just want an upgrade to their simple and efficient PS2, but will only get lost in the sea of gigabytes and cell processors.

It costs £300, so £50 more than the 120GB one, which is alot more since a 250GB HDD only costs around £30, hopefully the price will go down a little in the upcoming months hopefully, but really what would someone do with 250G? Unless they also updated anything els inside the PS3, but it looks like they just put in a new HDD and slapped it on as a new PS3 Slim Module.

The movie store is coming to Europe in November. Those with all this memory will have plenty of space to fill it with full Blu-Ray movies. These are bundles and at £50 more with a game it's worth it, far more worth it than the 120Gb version that is £249.99 without a game on some wesbites.
