Games We Love but Wish We Could Love Playing

IGN gives out the full details of the Alternative Edition of Resident Evil 5, which will support Sony's wand, and confirms that the extra episode will indeed be the mansion shown in a few of the flashbacks in the game- where you will play as Chris and Jill, trying to find Wesker. Apparently, the mission was supposed to be a DLC pack, but was made exclusive to the alternative edition because of size constraints- though, Capcom, being Capcom, you can expect the mission to be available as DLC later down the line, overpriced and all.
RE5 Alternative Edition combines the original RE5 with motion controls and a new gameplay episode. It also includes all the download content that has been released until now.
The motion controls are handled through Sony's new motion controller, which is currently unnamed. During Sony's TGS briefing, staff members controlled movement with the Dual Shock and aiming with the motion controller. It's also possible to play just with the Dual Shock.
In addition to using the motion controller for aiming, you'll use it to swing your knife and perform other such actions. Famitsu also says to expect additional new combat elements that one might expect from a motion controller.
The new episode pairs RE5 hero Chris Redfield with classic RE series character Jill Valentine for a scenario that's set three years prior to the events of 5.

They just want more money
And exactly what are we gonna fight? More majini? Wouldn't that be creating a plothole within itself?
Unless Capcom is willing to do the work and add new enemies, coding, models, skins, all JUST for this episode, which I doubt since the rest of RE5 just shows how lazy they've been with it.
And more horror my ass, wasn't RE5 more horror than RE4 during the interviews before release?
At least there talking about "upgrading" it in some form.
Regardless though, this is an attempt to try and make the alt version more different to the original release, but I can't help but feel that tacking one episode and wand support on isn't enough. Just like with RE4Wii, it's Capcom's way of reusing an old game and pretending it's a whole new experience that's worth you forking over the price of a brand new game for. Though frankly this seems like an even bigger kick than RE4, because at least those games were on entirely different generations of consoles.
I thought that would have been obvious xD
