DJ Hero Sequel Already being Planned

A Sequel? From Activision? Wha Wha What!?!?!?!?!

Yep, As if anyone didn't see this coming, Activision isalready talking about a sequel to DJ Hero, BEFORE the game even comes out! In addition to that, DLC is also being planned for DJ Hero shortly after the release. It comes out on October 27 for Wii, PS2, PS3 and Xbox 360

The first game may not be out until the end of next month, but Activision is already recruiting talent for a sequel and downloadable content for DJ Hero.

And GamesIndustry.biz understands that at least one independent UK games developer is already liaising with Activision's FreeStyleGames on DJ Hero 2.

Although not in the first game set for release on October 30, DMC Champion and judge DJ Qbert has also been approached for inclusion in a sequel.

    DJ Hero 2
    DJ Hero Portable
    Guitar Hero 7
    Band Hero 2
    Guitar Hero Portable (3 different ones)
    Guitar Hero: Another band edition
    Guitar Hero: Pro Skater

    I know I'm missing about 10 more, but I think you get the idea

    Wait woah woah woah they made a DJ Hero? Man, I didn't know that, let alone know they were coming out with a sequel (which really isn't a big surprise).

    Sounds cool. I want to try this out haha.

    I wanted the first one and wanted to be a hardcore fan for the series. But then I saw the price tag. Not pretty tbh.

    Wow. Anyone who didn't expect this is a moron. I'll be surprised if they don't come out with atleast 2 more DJ Hero games next year. That along with GH7, 2 more mobile games, and 2 more band-centric games. Such a waste of shelf space.

    I just thought of something - how come they're planning a sequel to a game that has yet to be released? The game could be utter shit and no one will buy it. Whose to say anyone will buy the second?

      It looks freaking awesome and I used to be really hyped for it.

      But the $200 dollar stopped me in my spot.
