Monster Energy Drinks have partnered up with Activision to create a special Modern Warfare 2 Energy Drink to help promote the upcoming game (like it needs any more promotion). You could also win a copy of Modern Warfare 2 DLC when you purchase your drink. So head out to your local Walmart and get yourself a pack.

The drink will give purchasers of a four-pack the chance to win a copy of the Hardened edition of Modern Warfare 2, the map pack, an Xbox 360 or PS3 console and lashings of the drink of course.

Those entering the contest who are also member's of Wal-Mart's Sam's Club will also given you the chance to with a Modern Warfare 2 Training Experience - when a 'Monster' six-pack is purchased.

I dont get why its so bad to advertise on drinks.

Films and music and festivals etc advertise with drinks. I don't see why games should be barred from this kind of advertising.

The logical/rational side of me thinks this is just another advertisement scheme getting out of hand.

The MW2 fanboy/MW2 forum moderator side of me wants to try it.
