Electronic Theatre reports on the announcement that a full size M12 ‘Warthog’ LRV, as featured in the Halo series, will make it's debut appearance at the London MCM Expo later this month.

The M12 ‘Warthog’ LRV is an A-reg 1984 Land Rover Defender 110, rescued from the GumTree 4×4 yard before its eventual scrapping due to MoT failure. Rebuilt by Props Studios, the vehicle has been fitted with an entirely new body and lifted suspension, along with as a heap of other modifications. It’s thought that the vehicle will arrive in London in full working order.

Thats not what they are saying. Its the first time the prototype warthog is improved upon, thus making the warthog v2 its first debut at the expo.

Hm, the only way this can be improved over the Weta Warthog is if the turret actually works.

Unrelated, but I'd love to see a full-sized Metal Gear REX replica...

Of course it's excessive; that's the point. If it wasn't no-one would care.
