Plans revealed to have the Xbox 360 edition released via paid episodic downloads over Marketplace; owners of Tomb Raider Legend to get it before everyone else.

Eidos has confirmed plans to release Tomb Raider Anniversary on the Xbox 360 in the form of downloadable episodes, with owners of Tomb Raider Legend to get the game before everyone else.

The first of the episodes, "Episode 1 & 2" which comes complete with a free training mission, is set to be available for downloadable purchase this September. Further episodes will arrive soon after.

Eidos then plans to release a full retail version of the game later in the year for those who don't own Tomb Raider Legend.
