Modern Warfare 2 Achivement List Revealed

Call of Duty fans, the achievement list for Modern Warfare 2 has been revealed, so you can have a taste of what you're getting into. The trophy list will likely be the same, only with a Platinum trophy.

Beware of spoilers, however- they might contain mild chapter related spoilers.

Drive By 10
Kill 20 enemies in a row while driving a vehicle in Single Player or Special Ops.
The Harder They Fall 10
Kill 2 rappelling enemies in a row before they land on their feet in Single Player or Special Ops.
Desperado 10
Kill 5 enemies in a row using 5 different weapons or attachments in Single Player or Special Ops.
Look Ma Two Hands 10
Kill 10 enemies in a row using akimbo weapons in Single Player or Special Ops.
No Rest For the Wary 10
Knife an enemy without him ever knowing you were there in Single Player or Special Ops.
Three-some 10
Kill at least 3 enemies with a single shot from a grenade launcher in Single Player or Special Ops.

    That sucks, no Multiplayer rewards, this doesn't make much sense, since this is a hardcore multiplayer game, I'm only really getting this game to play online, and yet there are no rewards for it, that sucks...

      People are going to play multiplayer regardless. They don't need multiplayer achievements to push. Special Ops is new, so all these achievements are going to encourage people to play it more.

      Besides, I wouldn't like to see multiplayer achievements. The last thing I want to hear in every match I go into is some random guy asking all of us to help him boost.

        No, just achievements like, kill so many people in a battleground, to encourage people to try and kill people as they want / need to get that achievement, people seem to go crazy for trophies / achievements so, it might be good, and it would be great for people who only really want to play the multiplayer features of the game.

          Don't know if you recall or know, but the first CoD4 didn't have mulitplayer achievements/trophies, either. And it was one of the most played games online. Balanced system, perks made things interesting, different modes, a true CoD game that brought me back to the PC titles before it.

          I like that there's no MP achievements.

          Good, i don't want people focusing more on getting the achivements more then winning the match. that happens so much on halo 3 it's stupid.

          That's what the Challenges in Call of Duty's multiplayer are for. And even now, you can't play the 1-on-1 Cage Match gametype without somebody begging you to boost headshots with him.

    Can someone tell me what special ops is? I don't really mind there not being any online achievements - they're easy to boost. As Turmoil said, there are challenges anyway.

      Special Ops Mode is a new cooperatively gameplay mode that Infinity Ward added for this game. You and your partner team up a different short, high-intensity missions billed to be in a similar fashion to the Epilogue mission in COD4.

      A lot of them are mostly "fight your way from point A to point B" style missions, but there is at least one mission where one player has a laser designator to spot targets and the other player controls an AC-130 Spectre gunship circling overhead.
