Fans of World of Warcraft were ecstatic when Sam Raimi accepted to adapt the most popular MMORPG for the big screen. Although still being in uncertain mist of pre-production, the movie already became epic with simple name - Warcraft. However, new update is revealed, showing that WoW movie might be based on novel about Arthas Menethil.

Enter Sam Raimi, the next great hope for movie-loving gamers. It was revealed in July that the "Spider-Man" will next (or at least soon) be turning to the massively multiplayer world of Azeroth for an adaptation of Blizzard's obscenely popular online role-playing game, "World of Warcraft." Until now, the movie's been going by the title "Warcraft" and no story details have been released. Well things have changed, and I think you fans are going to like it.
The eagle eyed fans at IncGamers spotted a change to the movie's details on IMDB.com (via Fidgit). First, the official title now appears to be "Warcraft: The Rise of the Lich King."

I suppose this will be mildly interesting, considering it's hardwired into (Do I dare say it?) popular culture.

Well, maybe Star Wars Galaxies could get one next. No, that's not right either.
