Electronic Theatre reports on the revelation that the sequel to PlayStation 3 exclusive inFamous is already in development, thanks to comments from the voice actor of lead character Cole.

In that which has become a bane of the videogames publishing community, the currently unannounced inFamous sequel has all but been confirmed. Voice actor David Sullivan appears to have taken it upon himself to reveal the inevitable inFamous 2, tweeting about his role in the game.

Im just wondering how they will transfer things from the first game. Do you start off evil if you have an evil save? vice versa with good, or just be neutral again?

I had asked the same thing in the forums a good while back. Been trying to guess how they'll do that for a while now. . . And any guesses I can come up with are futile to even think about because I only hope they do better than what I can come up with!

I figure they'll just get you to start pretty much from scratch like most other games, or at least a reduced arsenal. Not sure about good and evil, but building up points was one of the best features from the last game, so I'm guessing that will be reset as well.

That's what I was wondering though. If it's a continuation of the story . . . then the story is slightly different for good and evil . . . so how will the story continue?

Huh, this reminds me of Mass Effect 2's approach. Wonder just how it'll incorporate the first game's decisions. To make things easier, they could just read the save file or ask specific questions prior to the second's playthrough.

YAY! My personal favourite of 2009 will be back soon me hopes :3

I hope they let you keep a majority of your powers or at least give a good reason as to why you've lost a majority of them.

It would be good if the game starts with all your powers unlocked, and suddenly cole starts losing them slowly and he has to race said bad guy no.2 before he becomes to weak.

They should add an online mode. Not quite sure how it would work. Maybe a straight up deathmatch with everyone being Coles, one good team and one bad team. Also, races across rooftops. And maybe a mode where money or something is scattered across the section of the city, and you have 5 min. The person with the most at the end wins.

Also, a co-op mode would be kick-ass. And an endless round co-op mode like Nazi Zombies except you take on the enemies in the game each wave for endless waves, fighting with electrical powers. Kickass.

I will be looking forward to this more than the movie being made. However, what is up with the voice actor auditions.
