The Elder Scrolls Novel Coming in November

If you are one of those gamers who has tried to read every tome in Tamriel, you'll be delighted to learn that Del Ray will be publishing the first Elder Scrolls novel soon.

There seems to be a glimmer of hope for those who like to play games and still be considered literary-minded. Del Ray will be publishing the first novel (of a planned two)based on the Elder Scrolls series.

    I don't know about this. The whole point of Elder Scrolls is for your to make a character and have it interact with this open world. This kind goes the opposite direction of that.

    The game itself probably has like twice as much literature in it as this book, might check it out though.

    i might get it if it tells the whole history of tamriel. i never read the books in-game because i hate reading for long periods from a screen

    It had better not turn out to be a shitty 500 page novel with big writing. A lot of these "novels" adapted from other sources of lore turn out to be way too short for some inexplicable reason.
