Borderlands isn't even out yet and 2K Games ia already talking downloadable content. Tonight they released the details, price, and screenshots for the first episode of DLC, coming later this year.

Before the year is out, Borderlands will receive its first downloadable content. The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will be released for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 for $9.99 (800 Microsoft Points).

    I'm so excited for this game, I hope it'll be worth it to pick up the DLC for it. The first screenshot makes me think of Left 4 Dead, in no way would that be a bad thing. I wonder what other DLC they'll make after this one.

      Yeah, im excited too. It looks soo good, like a better version of Fallout 3.

      Im picking it up as soon as it comes out.

    1) Not too smart to announce DLC before release as I bet we will have another article about how it is ripping off the customer

    2) They need a Horde/Nazi Zombies/Firefight/Survival mode.

    So they openly confess that they have content that could be put into the actual game already set up to be sold separately as DLC? What a disgrace. Seems to me that DLC is starting to become more of a detriment to gamers than anything.
