It looks like Tales of Vesperia might get a sequel.
Namco Bandai's general manager Makoto Yoshizumi recently revealed that they are "thinking about" making a sequel.

One of the questions concerned a possible sequel for the original Vesperia game and the movie. Regarding the game sequel, Yoshizumi said that during meetings, staff would ask him, "Will you be making Vesperia 2?" to which he would respond, "Don't talk like a fan!". "It appears that [within the company] there's a desire to make part 2," he said. "We're thinking about it."

I sure as hell hope they do, fantastic game, imo. Not sure how they'd change things up though, the story pretty much did it's course. Still, amazing game that deserves more attention, and a sequel would help broaden the horizon/adventure.

Most of the Tales ports aren't localised.

Tales of Rebirth PSP and Tales of Symphonia PS2 come to mind.

There was a PS2 Tales of Symphonia?

Yeah, looks like the port wont be coming stateside. Here's hoping for DLC or a new edition of the 360 Vesperia.

Well the PS2 port of Tales of Symphonia never came out because Nintendo had something to with the localizing and obviously Nintendo wasn't going to give Sony any liberties with the game.

Considering what happened at the end of the game,I don't really see how they could do a good sequel.

Only if they also release the bonus content in the PS3 version as DLC for the 360 version!
