Although Europe missed out on the limited edition Metroid Prime Trilogy box, Nintendo of Europe seem to be making amends by offering a snazzy limited edition tin box for the upcoming New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Europeans missed out on the Metroid Prime Trilogy tin box that NOA released in the U.S. While it isn’t as cool, Nintendo of Europe seem to be trying to make up for it with a New Super Mario Bros. Wii Limited Tin Edition. Game.co.uk is taking pre-orders for it now.

No word on this being released in North America yet. It wasn’t announced during the recent roundtable with Miyamoto either. Nintendo seem to be pushing NSMB particularly hard in general though. Even the regular box art stands out from other Wii games.
