Aktionsbündnis Amoklauf Winnenden, a German activist group, recently announced that it would be holding a "game burning" and invited gamers to throw their "killer" violent video games into a giant vat to be burned.
The stunt ended up being a little less successful than they hoped...
Just recently, Aktionsbündnis Amoklauf Winnenden, an activist group stationed in Germany, announced that it was holding a modern day [book] game burning, and invited everyone out to willingly turn in their “killer” violent video games all in the name of justice.

They were trying to make us give up our evil killer games and lead us to the promised land.
Tis a shame really.
HEY! Why don't WE hold one? For games. Not books. Of course . . . with the pollution laws and all that, we might have a bit of trouble getting the O.K. From the government.
to steal the games and sell them on ebay
You know, this isn't sounding as much fun as I originally thought.
These people missed one big piece of logic. If the people hated violent videogames, they wouldn't own them in the first place.
Then again, that was back when people were "experimenting" more. Like Psychedellic man.
I also would have tried to...er...liberate some of the games.
Usually when you buy a game you don't like, you return it or sell if for a portion of the price you bought it. Only an idiot resorts to burning it.
I'm curious...
