Gears of War Snuggie Set to Take Over the World

This hilarious news story seems to lift the veil on an upcoming special edition Snuggie (blanket with holes for arms) that features the Gears of War uniform on the front, great for a laugh today!

It seems as though the hilarious people over at Epic Games have gone and taken one of the best video games of this generation, and merged it with the single worst product ever created; the image below may shock you - and cause your eyes to bleed with envy. Today, PlanetXbox360.com unveils to you (via @DanaCowley - PR for Epic) the Gears of War "Snuggie."

    I am shocked.

    I just don't know whether my shock is over the fact that somebody decided to do this for the Gears of War COG uniform, or the fact that I don't think anybody thought to do this for a Halo SPARTAN suit.

    hey, snuggies are awesome during winter! its like a damn blanket that you wear!! but it is funny that its being marketed when its something a 12 year old with a basic knowledge of sewing can make themselves.

    This is actually, pretty sweet.

    If I didn't have a crippling hatred of Snuggies due to their god awful ad campaign I might actually want one of these.

    I love that Snuggies are getting such global attention. I'm curious as to whether someone bought the initial media time and it just escalated, or if by some fluke some bogan "inventor" got one of the luckiest breaks of all time.
