Hollywood actor Bruce Willis is apparently very pleased with the Kane & Lynch movie script, calling it "one of the best action scripts he's ever read"...

"The script has been incredibly well-received around town," says producer Adrian Askarieh. "After Bruce Willis read it, he called it one of the best action scripts he's ever read, and Bruce is an expert in terms of action scripts because he's read everything over the last 20 years." Bruce Willis knows something good when he sees it!

According to Askarieh, the movie will have the "basic premise" of the game, but the details will be different. "It's not going to have every sequence from the game," he says, "but it's essentially the story of a mercenary teaming up with a schizophrenic psychopath to save his wife and daughter."

You know, I haven't seen a good movie of his since Sin City. I'm actually looking forward to this now. Bruce used to put out kick ass movies before the shit known as Armageddon and The Fifth Element.

And speaking of which, where the hell is Sin City 2?!

ill give you Armageddon but Fifth Element was great, what are you smoking? Bruce made it that much better. ive just always been a fan of his. i like him cause he's one pretty chill celeb thats laid back and doesnt seem to give much of a damn, kinda like Johnny Depp.

Sin City 2 is sadly not scheduled until 2011.

I figured I get heat for bashing the Fifth Element. I just didn't care for it. Reminded me of Judge Dredd for some reason...

I loved The Fifth Element too, it's one of my family's most-watched movies to date. But I can understand why it may not appeal to others.

The premise, setting, and story of Kane & Lynch was pretty damn good. Though the gameplay was one of it's weaker points, I still enjoyed it thoroughly. With that said, definitely catching this film.

my thoughts exactly. this is one thing they really should have just made a movie flat out to begin with and skipped the game. it didnt do anything new that we havent seen before but the plot was cool.

Bruce Willis is just goddamn awesome. Although last two movies I've seen (Die Hard 4 & Surrogates) where average & dreadful.

Any news as to a release yet though? Other cast? Bruce Willis alone will make me see this but I wanna know what else there is to get excited about.
