Well, heres a novel idea to put scantily dressed girls in a game. When the heroines of the upcoming PS3 RPG Ar Tonelico III activate their songs, their costumes hide less and less of their body. Why? Well, apparently when they show more skin, they absorb more of the planets energy, making them more powerful- so, the world can be saved only if the heroines take off their clothes.

What will they think of next?

Producer Kawachi Atsunori explained the reason behind how the heroine costumes start showing more skin when they activate songs, saying that “By showing more skin, they are able to absorb more of the planet’s energy”. There were some small snickers coming from the audience after hearing this, but he continued saying

“The world can only be saved because the heroines took off their clothes!”

And everybody laughed and clapped their hands.

Looks like Ar Tonelico 3 will be a great game!

Oooooh I get it. So the girls touching each other is how they attack their enemies, right???

Not exactly. The girls touching each other "charms" the enemies, causing them to attack one another instead of attacking your party.

Why do I get the feeling if I told my girlfriend to do this I wouldn't get very far...

It's official: producer Atsunori-san is not only a genius, but the Hero of Time himself! Hopefully the game itself will be engaging! And hopefully the sequel's localization issues won't stop this title from possibly making it over in the future.
