Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - The new map pack content revealed
19 hours 16 mins ago
Starting next month, Brutal Legend will be getting DLC on both platforms, on the XBOX 360 it'll cost you 400 point; on the Playstation 3... Free.
Odd, yes. But it isn't the first time Downloadable Content was available on a different platform for free but costed money on the 360. Earlier this month Left 4 Dead dropped new DLC: Free on PC, $$ for 360. Is this Microsoft's doing or EA's and Valve's? Either way, this is not looking good on Microsoft's part.
The age of downloadable content dawns in Brutal Legend next month, when the Tears of the Hextadon map pack goes on sale for 400 Microsoft points - or completely free for PlayStation 3 owners.
The Tears of the Hextadon map pack consists of two new maps for Brutal Legend's completely non-real-time strategy online multiplayer mode. The Circle of Tears map is completely surrounded by water, while the Death's Fjord map takes place in an icy mountain path, where players must brave wide open spaces in order to reach the fan geysers needed to generate units.

It's Microsoft's, obviously. Don't ask completely stupid questions.
'sides 360 owners can pay for this with the gamerpoints they got from Brutal Legend's achievements, no? The world keeps turning.
For whatever reason that the PS3 DLC is free for a short while is good yes? Maybe they feel bad for releasing a much buggier version than the 360 one.
note: Can't wait for the new maps tbh.
