Modern Warfare 2 Has Skippable Terrorism Scene

Remember that shockingly terrifying leaked video? Well, you don't have to play through that if you don't want too, revealed by a Activision spokesperson.

Leaked footage of Modern Warfare 2 showcased a playable art of terrorism; in where the player would shoot innocent civilians in an airport. Activision has since explained the propose of the scene stating that it’s “designed to evoke the atrocities of terrorism”.

    I'm gonna play the level, not because I wanna be a terrorist, but so I can see first hand what the terrorists will do. I will not shoot an american citizen, I will merely follow the terrorists and shed manly tears of sorrow for the fallen.

    As for the matter at hand, personally I don't mind a terrorism scene. I think this should be a rather powerful part of the game, and I applaud Infinity Ward for having the balls to put it in the game.

    The developers must know that this was gonna stir things up, otherwise they wouldn't have made it skippable

      Chances are it may have been why this game passed through ratings so early. It may have been a suggestion from the ESRB to add a skip feature to the scene.
