Bayonetta has already gotten great reviews in Japan while we in the U.S have been anxiously waiting for an official release date from Sega. The wait is over as Sega officially announced the U.S and European release dates for Bayonetta.

Bayonetta with her sexy, bootstrappingly dangerous fatal attraction promises a kiss of death to U.S. gamers when it launches with the new official release date of January 5, 2010. Pre-order items are not yet detailed, but Sega assures they are in the works. Hopefully Sega plans an actual reward for pre-ordering! These days I’ve felt cheated with in-game download codes, hardly as exciting as a tangible keychain, plush, or art book to boast your true fanboyisms with.

      I'm with you there.

Anyway, now there's THREE freaking games I need to get in January, thanks a lot...damn companies. Bayonetta, Army of Two: The 40th Day, and Mass Effect 2.

You're not buying Bioshock 2 as well? Another quandary for you.

Rated rather high, higher than I expected to be sure...

I wonder what the pre-order bonus will be myself....Chances are some free costume or something ~_~ Better than nothing, let's hope the special edition is really special too.

Knowing the creators the pre-order bonus is probably Bayonetta in no costume.
