Konami intend on releasing some of their MSX classics on the Wii's Virtual Console service. They have a list of thirteen titles including Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake. Although no date was given for the releases, apparently they'll be downloadable on Japanese Wiis soon enough.
Before Konami made NES games they were a key MSX developer. Parodius and Metal Gear originated on the system and you’ll be able to play the games that started those series if you have a Japanese Wii soon.
Over the coming months, Konami will release thirteen MSX games on Virtual Console.
