I don't get Number 5. Are there different difficulties in different parts of the world? Like, is the Japanese one harder/easier etc.?

The game released in Japan had different degrees of difficulty than the one for the Western Release.

NO what it means is that everywhere this game is release the difficulty is the same engine. For EX: the game is going to have a increase in difficulty from the first mission to last. And towards the last its going to be as hard as DMC3 original.

However i already knew all of these.

ACTUALLY, you are misunderstanding what I said. It's probably my fault for not stating I was speaking about DMC3, considering that is the only DMC game that had a different degree of difficulty between Japan and the Western Market, but that was what I was referring to.

What #5 is discussing is the outcry of annoyance from Western Gamers that when they released DMC3, the US Easy Mode was actually Japan's Normal Mode, ramping up the difficulty for the US Market. #5 is stating that they won't do that again.

So, you don't really understand what #5 is saying. Hopefully you do now.

The strange thing is in Europe they actually changed it back, the European version is easier than the US version of DMC 3, which I guess makes it the same difficulty level as the Jpanese version.

Devil Trigger better return. It was pretty useful in tough spots in the previous games. I hope to see the return of Vergil as well.

Alright, ok DMC4 sucks, period. Just another DMC game with nothing new but beefed up graphics, nice going Crapcom.

No offense, but it seems pretty early to make a call of that caliber on the game. The game play (In the game play videos I have seen so far) looks pretty killer to me, regardless of the things you have listed.

I hope they NEVER make DMC an online game, unless it's to play new levels or download things to add to your singular playing experience. DMC isn't made for playing as a group.

Having played all DMC games (yes, even DMC2) DMC4 really doesn't look that much different aside from a graphical overhaul. Maybe it's just me, but DMC's fast paced action doesn't impress me anymore (especially when DMC3 killed it with the Style Selection) and weapon selection is ALWAYS imprortant as DMC3 had quite a collection.

I got an idea of what online gameplay could've been like, hell I got many ideas, but Capcom didn't even bother to try it.

What makes you think that other people that are commenting haven't played all the other games as well? =/ Everyone has ideas on what they would love to put into a game, but if we really could do all these wonderful ideas, we would be the ones on the game development teams. But we're not.

I think we all kind of hoped number 2 would be true, which characters return will be interesting to see, I wonder if/when Capcom will reveal that one. The Sixaxis point doesn't really bother me personally, and no new demo at E3 isn't surprising, this IS Capcom after all.

It's still pretty early to be throwing out "ok this sucks" comments when we don't exactly have a ton of info on the game yet though.

I've played them all as well, just fyi.

Doesn't change that you are making a broad statement of suckage on a game that is no where near release.

DMC 3 had much more than beefed up graphics, they learned from their mistakes with the 2nd game and made a very fun and smooth flowing battle system, 4 looks to be an even bigger improvement.

I'm liking the sound of #2
*crosses fingers that it will be Vergil*

the only thing that really dissapoints me is #3, because if im gonna play the majority of a game with a character, then i want him to get some new gear at some point. Devil Trigger basically has to come back because its a staple of the DMC series.
