With certain 'big name' gaming titles all set to arrive after the summer months (Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect, to name but a few), Nintendo Europe has announced a bold Q3 schedule that sees the Japanese gaming giant chucking out top titles in a platform head-to-head. In the words of Mr. T: Crazy fools!

Hello/Hallo/Hola/Bonjour/Ciao fellow Europeans! Good news if, like your correspondent, you dwell in gaming's forgotten region - Nintendo Europe has finally pulled its finger out and published a Q3 release schedule that features concrete dates for the likes of Super Paper Mario, Big Brain Academy, Resident Evil Wii Edition, and Trauma Center on the Wii.

I think the "toned down" thing was a misunderstanding. The Japanese version was toned down in comparison the NA and PAL releases, but the original Japanese GC version was also toned down. The Wii game is the exact GC build with the PS2 extras and the new control scheme.

YAY, Finaly there's going to be a Super Paper Mario game for the Nintendo Wii, but i do think that this game is best for the Gamecube than the Nintendo Wii, i don't think that this will turn out that good, but thats just me it might turn out brilliant but who knows.

Jimbo, the main mechanic used in this game is the ability to switch between 2D and 3D worlds. That is the entire point of the game, and many of its puzzles/obstacles.
