New Nintendo Downloads for the week of 11/9/09. New WiiWare releases include Excitebike: World Rally, Frogger Returns and Dragon Master Spell Caster. New Virtual Console releases include Cybernoid and Wonder Boy III: The Dragon's Trap. New DSiWare releases include Bomberman Blitz and five mini-versions of Electroplankton.

Nintendo has dug up Excitebike, one of the classics the NES launch lineup, and remade it as Excitebike: World Rally. World Rally will include online play over the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, multiple control options and it will feature the return of the Track Editor (created tracks can also be shared online).

Two well known franchises will also be making their DSiWare debuts this week as well. Bomberman bombs again thanks to the release of Bomberman Blitz and five different mini-versions of Electroplankton (corresponding to five of the ten modes found in the original DS release of the game) will be added to the DSiWare Shop for 200 DSi Points ($2) apiece. The five games include Electroplankton Trapy, Electroplankton Hanenbow, Electroplankton Rec-Rec, Electroplankton Nanocarp and Electroplankton Beatnes (which, not surprisingly, uses the music from several NES games).
