This is basically some more proof of what we all already know, that Modern Warfare 2 (released today on PS3, Xbox 360, and eventually PC) will sell a ton of copies around the world; still cool to see the industry doing well!

Looks like most retailers expect Modern Warfare 2 to break all kinds of mega-money records, becoming the “biggest selling video game in history.” Amazon has reported that preorders for the game were 50 percent higher than for Grand Theft Auto IV, and Play revealed that running up to launch, 150 preorders were taken every hour.
